Sound Blaster Live Sb0200 Driver: Features and Specifications

Hello, I'm pretty new here (registered today) so I'm not sure if I have posted this in the right place but my problem is this: I am building a Win98 PC from an old Pentium 4 1.8 ghz Sony Vaio. So far everything has gone well, windows 98SE installed perfectly and the graphics card was a Nvidia TNT2 so I had no issues there, however the onboard Audio is XP only drivers and as such will not install on win98. So I went on Ebay and purchased an old SoundBlaster Live! card since when I was younger I remember Creative Soundblaster cards sounded really good. However this soundcard did not come with the Driver discs and so I found the Discs you provide. The drivers don't appear to work however and I am still without audio, I have searched and searched and I can't find drivers for this card anywhere! Please Help! The card is a SoundBlaster Live! Model : SB0200, it is the type that has the orange joystick/midi input port.

Actually I just tested it and it doesn't start now because of issues detecting the sound card. ?Well I thought it was fixed! It detects it in the setup but when I run the game it crashes because of the sound card. I will try those DOS drivers and see if that helps.

When searching for the final model CT4830 I ran into an interestingthread about using Audigy2 ZS drivers with Sound Blaster Live! cards.Apparently this method is compatible with quite a few Sound Blaster Live! cardsand provides some benefits over the Live! VxD drivers like supporting the useof custom soundfonts when running DOS programs under Windows.

I decided to try out the Audigy driver method and go with the CT4830 card(other users had luck using the same model). After physically installing thecard I booted into Windows and followed the driver install guide. Severalreboots later I had working sound through headphones plugged into the greenport. 2ff7e9595c
